Probono is the second label of one of my favorite winemakers in the world, Paul Lato. They overdeliver on the quality versus the price and are wines that could cost twice as much as they do. A light lemon core with a silvery rim in the glass, it boasts notes of grilled lemon, wet white clay, green apple, and sweet spice. Wonderfully balanced, it finishes long, with a yummy saline and stone-fruit finish on the mid-palate.
