A blend of 86% Syrah, 8% Mourvedre, and 6% Grenache rests in 20% new French oak for about 10 months. Boysenberry, bitter herbs, black plum skin, and crushed peppercorn are all present in the glass. Medium-bodied with lovely acidity, it’s a meaty, spicy and earthy GSM that would be even better with some smoked meat. 1926 cases made.
