The 2019 Prince of Music is composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the remaining a blend of Merlot 2.5%, Cabernet Franc 5.9% and Petit Verdot 1.6%. This is open and expressive, offering bright, vivid aromas of dark cherries and blueberries, which come together with sweet spices, tobacco, herbs and fresh violets that are all accented with lovely toasted oak nuances. On the palate this is full-bodied and opulent, with a beautiful plush texture and mouthwatering flavors of ripe dark fruits that expand through the finish. While the Prince of Music is accessible and drinking beautifully right now, it should also offer a drinking window that spans at least a decade.
