Fruit coming from the famed Boushey Vineyard, this 100% Syrah is fermented with 15% whole cluster and is aged for 16 months in 15% new French oak barrels. Displaying sensational aromas of spiced black plum, boysenberry compote, Herbs de Provence, crushed green peppercorn, and a dusty country road. Tannins are quite crunchy, and the wine is still tight, but everything is balanced out by the citrusy acidity and lovely balance of the wine. This will need some time in the bottle to all come together, but you can really see the potential shining through. Better in 2024. Only 365 cases produced.
