This stunning blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot showcases a medium garnet core with a light orange rim. For a 2017, it’s still a young and vibrant wine with a lot of life ahead of it, with crunchy tannins, elevated acidity, and notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, pencil shavings, and sweet cinnamon shining through. Finishing with a strong saline and black-fruit component, alongside hints of tobacco and cedar on the mid-palate, this wine should age well for the next decade or more and will continue to improve over the next 2-3 years. Highly recommended.
