Aged for 16 months in 20% new French oak barrels, the 2021 Dubrul Chardonnay sports a light to medium lemony core with a watery rim in the glass. Opulent notes of grilled white peach, Meyer lemon, honey-coated pear, stony minerality, and sweet vanilla spice fill the glass. It’s rich, decadent, and full-bodied on the palate. It’s hard to pull off a great Washington Chardonnay, but the winemaking team at Valdemar did it with this wine. 115 cases produced.
