100% whole cluster fermentation for 10 months in neutral French oak barrels, this low-intervention, low-alcohol Pinot Noir from Darling starts off a bit shy on the nose but develops quickly with notes of red raspberry, cranberry, purple wildflowers, and leafy herbs. The palate is more aggressive than the nose, with red fruits standing front and center and a mineral, saline quality on the finish. Only four barrels produced.
