SOJOURN Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast, Rogers Creek Vineyard 2019

The nose on this Rogers Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir begins with a beautiful new leather note followed up with aromas of ripe black plum and potpourri. The wine sees 50% new French oak while aging and 20% whole cluster during fermentation. On the palate experience an earthy mushroom note, along with balanced flavors of dark cherry, fresh cranberry, and sweet baking spices. On the back of the palate, a cocoa nibs note elevates the complex and lengthy finish. Give this wine another year bottle to really shine and evolve. 800 cases produced.
