Coming from the Ridgetop Vineyard, cared for by Ulises Valdez Jr., this yummy Pinot Noir sees 50% new French oak and is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Starting out very floral on the nose with aromas of rose, purple flowers and potpourri, it quickly gives way to accents of freshly baked cherry pie, fresh mint and a touch of nutmeg. The palate is much the same with fresh and baked red fruits, kumquat and some stunning tropical notes on the finish. The acidity and tannins are both medium in structure and should give this wine 8-10 years of beautiful evolution in the bottle. 375 cases produced.
