The 2018 Gary Farrel Toboni Vineyard Pinot Noir sees 10 months of aging in 40% new French oak barrels and delivers wonderful notes of strawberry preserves, purple rose petals, red cherry candy, sweet baking spices, pencil shavings, and blood orange that explode from the glass. A deep ruby core with a silvery rim displays well alongside a core of medium-plus acidity, fine and integrated tannins, and a toasted anise note on the mid-palate on the finish. 706 cases produced.
