The 2021 Sonoma Coast from MacRostie sports a light to medium ruby-cranberry core with a blueish rim and has perfumed notes of fresh strawberry, eucalyptus, dried red rose petals, wet earth, and a hint of white pepper. It’s a bit tight and wound up now, so you will need to give this a year or two to settle down. A light to medium texture and relatively concentrated, it’s a yummy bottle of wine that will be better in 2024.
