Aged in 40% new French oak barrels, the 2021 Durell Vineyard Chardonnay from Sojourn presents a light to medium lemony core with a watery rim. Grilled lemon, white peach, green Honeydew melon, lemony herbs, and white tea aromas jump from the glass. It’s a medium-bodied and structured effort that finishes with a honey-coated pear and white mushroom aspect on the mid palate. 400 cases produced.
