A slightly leaner and more precise Chardonnay than the Mays Canyon, this too is aged for 16 months in about 20% new French oak. Wonderful freshness and texture abound, with aromas and flavors of crisp apple, grapefruit pith, ground white pepper, blanched almonds, and a hint of lemongrass. It ends crisply with ample acidity and a linear and focused finish.
