SOJOURN Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast ‘Sangiacomo Vineyard’ 2022

All destemmed fruit was used in the 2022 Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir from Sojourn. Seeing 50% new French oak during aging, it sports a glistening medium ruby-garnet core with a bluish rim in the glass. A touch more meaty and earthy than its siblings - think notes of crushed pink peppercorn and a touch of peppered charcuterie. Bold blue and red fruited notes meld with violet flowers and black tea notes that sit on the mid-palate. A little over 1000 cases were made. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
