A light cranberry core with a silvery rim, the 2022 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from Brick and Mortar takes a bit of time to open up, so give it some air for an hour or so upon opening. Yummy notes of blueberry fruit leather, crushed red berries, lemon verbena, black tea, and just a touch of dried mint and earth sit elegantly on the palate. Rounded but present tannins provide structure on the spicey finish. This would pair wonderfully with a roasted leg of lamb.
