A glistening purple and brick core with a neon purple rim in the glass, the 2020 Range 30 West is Cabernet Franc dominant at 64%, with the rest being Merlot. Aged for 20 months in 57% new French oak barrels, it starts with notes of mountain blueberries, red cherries, crushed dried bitter herbs, ground green peppercorn, and hints of citrus oil. Well-balanced with rounded tannins and wonderful acidity, drink this one over the next 8 years. 350 cases were produced.
