Only the second vintage of the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir from MacRostie, it opens with aromas of spiced Christmas sugar plum, toasted walnut, and tilled earth. Acidity is elevated, tannins are a bit crunchy but sweet, and it finishes with wonderful red and blue fruits and a cedary herb note on the mid-palate. Better in 2024.
