The first vineyard planted by Domaine Serene in 1993, the Mark Bradford Vineyard is named after Grace and Ken’s son. Planted to Pommard and Baydensville clones, the vines are on a west-facing slope and is the last fruit to come into the winery because of the long hang time that is needed to ripen the fruit. Very muscular in nature, but with refined tannins, this one is definitely going to need a few years in bottle to come together before enjoying. But with patience, brings great rewards. Notes of black cherry, boysenberry, dried lavender, dried brown mushroom, and some fun earthy tones make up this stunning bottle of Pinot. Acidity and tannins are all in check and come together perfectly on the saline, earthy, and fruity palate. 410 cases produced.
