The 2018 Nancy’s Pinot Noir is made from 100% Pommard Clone and uses 50% whole cluster during fermentation, and is aged for ten months in about 30% new French oak barrels. The color is fantastic, with a dark ruby core and a purple rim. More dark fruit than red on the nose and on the palate, along with notes of spiced blue plum, black cherry, toasted herbs, sweet clove, dusty road, and green peppercorn. Medium plus acidity, crunchy tannins, and a blue-fruit-driven finish complete the wine. About 375 cases produced.
