The 2021 Ayoub Chardonnay is another wonderful example of what can be done with Chardonnay in Oregon in the hands of the right winemaker. Bountiful notes of white peach, fresh citrus, toasted tree notes, and hints of earth are wonderfully presented on the nose. Let it warm up a bit from cellar temperature and it really comes alive. A rich texture with saline minerality completes the wine. Just 350 cases made. Editor’s Choice.
