A bit lighter on its feet than the Pinot Noir siblings, the 2021 Découverte sports a light neon ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass. Elegant on the nose and on the palate, it glides over the tongue with no rough edges to speak off. Red fruit driven with shades of pine forest, crushed stone, and powdered graphite thrown in to keep things interesting. I love the floral note that I get on the finish. Highly recommended.
