The 2018 Personification of Power Pinto Noir is 100% whole-cluster fermented and aged in barrel for four years before bottling. A shimmering medium garnet core with a brickish rim shows what is to come in the glass. It starts with a whiff of dried violets and toasted fennel and then moves into flavors of fresh blue plum, wild huckleberry, and a touch of wild game. Crunchy tannins, racy acidity, and a bitter herb finish complete the wine. Just 86 cases produced.
