My favorite of the White Walnut Chardonnays from the 2021 vintage, the Estate North Blocks, crushes in every way. A wonderful nose of freshly sliced D’Anjou pear, white nectarine, green melon, and slight hints of crushed volcanic stone and earth spill from the glass. Lush and consistent on the palate with no rough edges, the flavors of an ocean breeze, apricot, and stone fruit meld well with hints of whole clove. A small production of 100 cases was produced. Highly recommended.
