The 2021 Ojo Brilloso Knudsen Vineyard is also made from Pommard clone vines planted in 2000 at 650 feet of elevation. This particular block has shallower soils resulting in much smaller and more concentrated berries. The glimmering medium ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass, boasts notes of wild blueberries, boysenberries, dried sagebrush, toasted vanilla bean, and grated milk chocolate. Acidity checks in at the medium level, while the crisp tannins help complete the wine.
