The 2021 La Linea Pinot Noir is a combination of 75% Pommard Clone and 25% Dijon 115 and sees 20% new French oak during 10 months of aging. This stunning Pinot has no rough edges with perfectly integrated sweet tannins and lemony acidity that doesn’t overpower but compliments the beautiful notes of Bing cherries, blue plum flesh, purple wildflowers, mountain herbs, sweet allspice, and hints of milk chocolate. A saline and red-fruit-focused finish completes the wine. Only 258 cases were made. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
