The Mark Bradford Vineyard is a high-elevation site located on the west-facing slope of the Evenstad Estate that was planted in 1993. A vineyard that always produces thick-skinned grapes that deliver a medium to dark ruby core with a neon purple rim. Herbaceous on the nose, with savory characteristics of cedary herbs, and dusty earth, it moves to more fruit-forward notes of black cherry, mountain blueberry, dried mint, and just a touch of freshly laid tar. More herbal on the finish than its siblings, it ends with crunchy tannins and medium-plus levels of acidity. Better in 2024. Highly recommended.
