DOMAINE SERENE White Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Coeur Blanc’ 2021

The always interesting Coeur Blanc (white heart) from Domaine Serene is an all-Pinot-Noir white wine by pressing off the skins with little skin contact. Very light lemon core with a watery rim, and it boasts fresh notes of lemon peel, crushed wet stones, sea breeze, freshly sliced yellow apples, and toasted hazelnuts. Despite the light color, it has a rounded texture with a medium body, which is quite surprising. One of the best Couer Blancs I’ve tasted.
