Loaded with tension and finess, the 2021 Nysa Vineyard Pinot Noir from Nicolas Jay was also aged in 50% new French oak barrels. It pours a bright, glimmering ruby hue with a neon pink rim and brings forward aromas of Bing cherries, candied flower petals, crushed rocks, and hints of cranberry cocktail. Vibrant on the palate, with a medium body, fine tannins, invigorating acidity, and lovely notes of tangerine peel that hit the mid-palate alongside the lengthy finish. 230 cases made. Highly recommended.
