DU COEUR Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Prince Hill Vineyard’ 2021

Another one of my favorite vineyards in the Dundee Hills, the Price Hill Vineyard, grows fruit for some of my favorite wines. The 2021 Du Coeur spent 9 months in 25% new French oak barrels and comes from Coury and 95 clones. Sporting a light glistening ruby core with a silvery rim, it bursts with fragrant purple and blue flowers, crushed marionberries, dried orange peel, white chocolate, dried mountain herbs, and fresh mint aromas. Rounded, sweet tannins, lemony acidity, and enough structure to allow this to age for 10 years or more, this is an elegant and complex Pinot Noir that deserves your attention. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
