Resting for 17 months in French oak barrels, the 2021 Two Barns Vineyard Pinot Noir from Domaine Serene delivers a medium dark ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass. Powerful and brooding on the nose with deep aromas of dark cherries, macerated black raspberries, toasted cinnamon sticks, grilled tree nuts, purple potpourri, and Blood orange zest. Tannins are in check and the acidity carries the blue-fruit and bitter herb finish for several minutes. 604 cases made. Highly recommended.
