DOMAINE SERENE Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills ‘Yamhill Cuvée’ 2021

The lovely 2021 Yamhill Cuvée by Domaine Serene was aged for 15 months in partially new French oak barrels and sports a neon ruby core with a light pink rim in the glass. Fragrant notes of red cherries, sweet cranberries, foresty herbs, sweet cinnamon sticks, and red wildflowers pounce from the glass. Tannins are supple and smooth, acidity is on the medium-plus side. I loved how the wine slowly builds across the palate, starting off slow, and finishing with a red-fruit-driven punch. A little over 7500 cases made.
