NICOLAS JAY Chardonnay, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Bishop Creek’ 2019

Organically farmed on vines that are almost 30 years old, this Burgundian-style Chardonnay sees 20% new French oak, which gives it wonderful aromatics and body. Flinty notes are present alongside orange creamsicle, green apple, lemon zest, and wet stones. The palate is much richer than the nose with notes of ripe yellow apple, white nectarine, flint, cinnamon stick and just a hint of buttered croissant. Racy acidity and a medium to full body complete this delicious Chardonnay. Only 93 cases produced.
