ELIZABETH CELLARS Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton ‘Lazy River Vineyard’ 2019

The 2019 Lazy River is much darker and brooding in the glass than its sibling, Fairsing. Starting with layers of sugared black raspberry fruit, cherry cordial, hoisin sauce, scorched hay, and black tea on the nose and moves to secondary notes of Earl Gray tea, cigar box, and spiced blue plum on the palate. If you like your Pinot Noirs a bit bigger, this is a great one to pick up and try. 225 cass produced.
