A medium neon ruby core with a silvery rim presents beautifully in the glass. I love the aromatics from the 2021 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir by Ken Wright - think notes of strawberry preserve, ground white pepper, powdered graphite, orange pith, red rose, and savory sage. Perfect acidity, a medium-bodied mouthfeel, rounded tannins, and terrific purity of fruit present themselves nicely on the palate.
