The 2021 Block 23 Pinot Noir from Shea is richer and more brooding than its siblings but is profound in its own way. A garnet-purple core with a neon pink rim in the glass, it gifts notes of black cherry, spiced blue plum, Christmas spices, and cedary herbs. Silky smooth tannins and bright acidity showcase a blue-fruit and spice-driven finish. Give this another year before enjoying it, then drink over the next decade. Highly recommended.
