The 2021 Block 5 Pinot Noir from Shea Wine Cellars gifts a light translucent ruby core with a silvery rim. Notes of forest red fruits, macerated wild strawberries, toasted baking spices, and scorched herbs are wonderfully presented. A medium-bodied mouthfeel merges with additional flavors of wild blueberries, silky tannins, and perfect levels of acidity. I am loving the 2021s coming out of Oregon, and this wine is a stunning example of how good the vintage can be. Highly recommended and Editor’s Choice.
