The 2021 Founder’s Block Pinot Noir from Resonance is new to me, so I was excited to taste it. Displaying a glistening medium ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass, it’s wonderfully perfumed and fragrant. Think notes of black cherry, forest floor, sweet black tea, and shades of leather and cedary herbs. Hitting hard on the palate are all those black and blue fruits alongside toasted clove and cinnamon and hints of white pepper and pink grapefruit pith. Full-bodied, decadent, and wonderfully made.
