The Abbey Oaks Vineyard is a south-facing slope at a bit lower elevation and was planted with 6 different Pinot Noir Clones that were planted in 2012. A dark purple core with a neon purple rim boasts aromas of black cherries, crushed black raspberries, cassis, cedary herbs, and mocha powder. It’s bold and rich with a salen and spicy finish. Tannins are integrated nicely but still present across the mouthfeel. Better in 2024.
