An interesting variety of grape for Washington, the 2021 Gruner Veltliner was aged for 12 months in neutral French oak. Aromas of alfalfa, sheared wool, and white pepper are front and center, with fruit flavors of yellow pear, sliced apple, wild herbs, and apple liquor take up the bench. A lovely lush finish completes the wine.
