Shimmering deep purple core with a raspberry rim, it comprises 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Petit Verdot. Tight and young, this will need a few years to come to life, but it definitely shows potential now. Classic Red Mountain notes of dried sagebrush, boysenberry, cedary herbs, black licorice, and toasted baking spice are present. Tannins are a touch grippy right now, but the wonderful levels of acidity help balance things out. Give this until 2024 or 2025 for the optimal experience.
