A mélange of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot from Red Mountain that is aged for 21 months in about 88% new French oak barrels, it sports a deep purple core with a neon purple rim in the glass. It’s all black plum, baked blackberries, purple flowers, licorice root, tar, and leather on the nose and on the palate. Beautifully balanced between the bitter herbs, black fruit, and earthy finish, it’s a wine that you should enjoy nicely now with a heavy decant or over the next 8 years. Just 407 cases made.
