The 2021 Klipsun Vineyard Syrah from Valdemar spent 19 months in 28% new 500L French oak puncheons and pours a deep purple garnet. Loads of crushed mountain blueberries, black cherries, pink peppercorn, grilled herbs, and hints of charcuterie all emerge on the nose and on the palate. It’s a medium to full-bodied wine with a pure, layered style and shows incredible balance. Just 161 cases were made. Highly recommended.
