The stunning 2021 Le Souvenir Chardonnay from Paul Lato is another wondrous bottle of wine that grabs your attention at every turn and makes it hard to look away. A richer and more full-bodied specimen than its siblings, it explodes with aromas of honey-coated pear, grilled citrus, honeydew melon, toasted brioche, and marzipan. The palate is rich and decadent, but not in an overpowering way. Lip-smacking acidity melds with the stone-fruit and spice-driven finish that goes on forever. Highly recommended.
