A lovely light ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass, the 2020 Julia’s Vineyard from Foxen was aged for 16 months in 29% new French oak. Blueberry preserves and grilled lemon notes on the palate combine with aromas of forest floor, grilled meat, and just a hint of fennel seed. Featuring grippy tannins and elevated acidity to keep things interesting. Approximately 350 cases were produced.
