Aged for 16 months in 40% new French oak barrels, the 2021 Solomon Hills Estate Pinot Noir is wonderfully complex and interesting. Notes of boysenberries, wild mountain huckleberries, meadow wildflowers, and allspice spill from the glass. The palate jumps between being fruity, herbaceous, or earthy with each sip, so be prepared for some meaty and forest-floor tones that flow across the tongue. About 330 cases produced. Highly recommended.
