The 2015 E.B.A. Petite Sirah from Robert Biale spent extended time oak before bottling. The result is a wine with a deep nose of blueberry puree, wild blackberry jam and coffee grounds that instantly impresses. Rich and ultra-ripe, this boasts a gorgeous plush texture and an impressive velvery mouthfeel. Black tea, black cherry compote, Turkish coffee and blueberry pie flavors all wonderfully impress. Deep and seductive, the E.B.A. should cellar well for a decade or more.
