The 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet is a drop-dead gorgeous release from winemaker Kimberly Hatcher. This immediately begins to impress with seductive aromas of ripe red cherries, red currants, sweet spices, fresh sage and hints of violets all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with beautifully polished tannins and excellent overall balance, as gorgeouus underlying acidity provides remarkable freshness through the long, juicy finish. While this is simply irresistible now, it should also go on to offer a drinking window that spans well over a decade. An absolutely outstanding Cabernet from Morgado Cellars.
