This is another is absolutely stunning release from Morgado Cellars in this vintage, as it begins with alluring aromatics of ripe dark cherries, currants, violets, sweet exotic spices, dried sage, dusty minerals all bursting from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied and beautifully structured with polished, velvety tannins, and outstanding overall depth and concentration. It goes on to impress with its wonderful purity, as well as a remarkable combination of ripe fruit and acidity, which keeps it fresh and inviting through the long, supple finish. While this is absolutely sensational now, it also has the potential to age gracefully for many years to come.
