The 'Signature Release' Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 21 months in new French oak prior to bottling. As this begins to unwind it delivers decadent aromas of crème de cassis, Turkish coffee and cigar ash with a hint of red bell pepper. The palate is silky smooth, revealing a marvelous texture. Dark chocolate covered cherry, crème de cassis and anise flavors all combine marvelously. While this is drinking fantastic now it should also continue to develop over the decade.
