The 2017 Napa Valley Chardonnay from Cakebread Cellars opens with beautiful aromas of lemon zest, citrus curd, Asian pears and crushed stones along with nuances of honey and fresh white flowers all taking shape. It possesses a lovely round texture with a core of citrus flavors that are underlined by a lovely mineral character. A classic style of Napa Valley Chardonnay that is drinking beautifully today, but can also be enjoyed with some bottle age.
